Regular veterinary checkups are important for the health of your cat. Cats need yearly shots and overall health assessments. Try keeping the same vet throughout your cat’s life. This person will be more knowledgeable on your cat’s history.
Cats like sneaking into small spaces. A collar can be a dangerous thing to wear in such a place. A collar that is a breakaway model will detach itself if it gets pulled on. That’ll keep kitty safe.

Simply place a cloth placemat that will grab at the food under their plate and then shaken out over the trash. You can put a vinyl one underneath that can be picked up wiped down easily if you prefer.
Don’t let your cat go outside. Cats come to harm outside every day. They may acquire fleas or much worse things. There is the possibility they may get injured by another animal, even people and cars too. If the cat must go outside, set aside a small part of the backyard or front lawn as a place where they can go.
Make sure you are cautious about leaving a young child alone with a small kitten. A cat should not be left alone with a child under five years of age. You may not have noticed a problem when you see them together, but very kids do not really understand they can accidentally harm or kill a kitten. When children are over the age of five, then you should decide whether or not they are mature enough to handle a kitten.
